FOUO & Classified Session Attendance Requirements
Location Information
All technical sessions (Monday - Wednesday, June 27-29) will be held in a U.S. ONLY, FOR OFFICAL USE ONLY (FOUO)
environment at the Crowne Plaza Colorado Springs.
CLASSIFIED sessions (Thursday, June 30) will be held at Fort Carson in the Elkhorn Catering and Conference Center.
FOUO U.S. ONLY SESSIONS (Monday-Wednesday, June 27-29)
All US ONLY FOUO sessions and exhibits (June 27-29) will be held in an US ONLY FOR OFFICAL USE ONLY (FOUO) environment at the Crowne Plaza Colorado Springs. To attend you must provide the following:
- Proof of U.S. citizenship.
- Visit Request/including Need-to-Know Statement (Need-to-Know not required if using JPAS)
- Photo ID
- JNC Conference Badge and Registration
Visit Request and Need-to-Know Statements
All Visit Requests must be received by May 30, 2011
and be approved by the JNWC Security Office.
Prospective U.S. attendees must submit their Visit
Authorization Requests through JPAS to JPAS SMO:
OD3QFJ6ZB6. JPAS visit request POC field must be
filled with “JNC 2011” instead of a POC name.
If JPAS is not an option, complete the JNC 2011 Visit
Request form [PDF].
It is recommended that personnel planning to
attend the FOUO or classified sessions verify that
their Visit Request has been received and approved by
the JNWC security office prior to making any travel
arrangements. Visit authorization requests received
after May 30, 2011 may not be processed/approved.

CLASSIFIED SESSION (Thursday, June 30)
The CLASSIFIED SESSION will be held in a classified 4-eyes environment (open to citizens of Australia, Canada, U.K. and U.S.A.).
Minimum attendance requirements for CLASSIFIED session:
- Citizen of Australia, Canada, U.K., or U.S.A.
- Minimum security clearance: SECRET.
- Visit authorization request submitted via JPAS (U.S.A.) or embassy process (below).
- Photo ID.
- JNC Conference Badge and Registration.
Citizens of Australia, Canada and U.K. wishing to attend the classified session should submit their visit requests through normal embassy processes. Information required for embassy Clearances is as follows:

The classified session will be held at the Elkhorn Catering and Conference Center located on Fort Carson, CO. Shuttle busses will be provided from the Crowne Plaza.

- Turn left to merge onto I-25 S (2.2 mi)

Pass the Fort Carson Gate #2 exit. After approximately two miles, Fort Carson Gate #1 will be on the left - Turn left at Nelson Blvd. (0.3 mi)
- Slight right to stay on Nelson Blvd. (292 ft)
- Continue onto Harr Ave. (0.2 mi)
- Turn left at Prussman Ave. (0.2 mi)
- Turn right at Mekong St. (0.4 mi)
- Turn left at Woodfill Rd.
Note: In order to gain access to Fort Carson, all attendees should report to Gate #1 (Nelson Blvd.) on Highway 115 for a vehicle pass. You must show a valid driver’s license, vehicle registration, proof of insurance (required) and valid photographic identification to gain access.
